1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using it under any applicable law.
2. Accounts & API keys
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API key.
- Your API key is a secret. Do not publish, share, resell or embed it in client-side code.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You can rotate your API key at any time from the dashboard.
- We may require email verification before enabling solving or top-ups.
3. The Service
Tiger Captcha provides an automated optical character recognition (OCR) API. You submit an image (or a URL to an image) and we return our best machine-generated reading of the characters in it. The Service is a general-purpose recognition tool. It is your responsibility to ensure your use of it is lawful and authorised.
4. Acceptable use
You may only use the Service against systems that you own, operate, or are expressly authorised in writing to test or automate. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use complies with:
- all applicable laws and regulations;
- the terms of service, robots directives and acceptable-use policies of any third-party website or system you interact with; and
- any contractual obligations you owe to others.
5. Prohibited activities
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law, or facilitate any illegal, fraudulent or deceptive activity;
- gain unauthorised access to any account, computer system or network;
- commit or enable fraud, credential stuffing, account takeover, payment fraud, spam, or bulk unsolicited messaging;
- create fake accounts or artificially manipulate any platform, poll, vote or metric;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
- upload malware or content that is unlawful, or that you have no right to transmit;
- interfere with, overload, probe or reverse engineer the Service or attempt to bypass its security, quotas or rate limits;
- resell, sublicense or white-label the Service without our prior written consent.
6. Billing & credits
- The Service is prepaid. You add credit to your balance and are charged per successful solve, or you purchase a package/subscription for the period stated at checkout.
- Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change. Changes apply to future purchases, not credit already bought.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Cryptocurrency payments are final and, once confirmed on-chain, cannot be reversed by us.
- Credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and is non-refundable except where a refund is required by law or expressly agreed by us in writing.
- Underpaid or partially paid invoices are credited in proportion to the amount actually received.
- You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.
7. Rate limits & fair use
Your plan defines limits such as concurrent tasks and requests per second. We may apply, change or enforce limits to protect the Service. Exceeding a limit returns an error rather than a charge. We may throttle or block traffic that we reasonably believe is abusive or destabilising.
8. Availability & accuracy
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change or discontinue features at any time.
Accuracy is not guaranteed. The Service returns a machine-generated best guess. It will sometimes be wrong. You are charged for solves the system completes, including results that later prove incorrect. Do not use the Service where an incorrect result could cause harm.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, or block an API key, immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credit is not refunded on termination for breach.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, models, documentation and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you submit; see the Privacy Policy for how submitted images are handled.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tiger Captcha and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-dashboard notice where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law & jurisdiction
The Service is operated from Bangladesh. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
You agree that the courts of Khulna, Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 of Bangladesh; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any mandatory right you have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.
